Freelance Fundraiser Opportunity with The Scottish Civic Trust
Freelance Fundraiser Required
Duration: 105 hours
Renumeration: £2,500
Availability of contractor: immediate
Project Brief
The Scottish Civic Trust’s Diverse Heritage programme has been working since 2018 to ensure that all of Scotland’s communities are represented in Scotland’s built heritage and its associated stories. Targeting audiences which are under-represented in civic life, including the disabled, BPOC, LGBTQI+ and others, our Diverse Heritage events have been attended by more than 2,500 people from across Scotland. Our work is sector leading and has involved co-produced programmes with over 50 organisations.
We are looking for an experienced fundraiser to work with us to develop at least three major funding applications of more than £50k each. Initial work has already been completed, and the successful applicant will have access to previous funding applications on which to build.
Application Process
Experienced fundraisers are asked to submit a portfolio showing their successful work to the Civic Trust’s Director, Joe Traynor at Joe.traynor@scottishcivictrust.org.uk
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to meet the Director and the Diverse Heritage Project Manager to discuss the brief further.
This is a time sensitive contract, and the successful applicant will be able to begin immediately, submitting quality applications in a short time frame.
Applications will be evaluated competitively on a rolling basis on quality, on previous work, and the number of applications guaranteed to be delivered within the allotted time frame.
