School Submissions

Dollar Academy is a coeducational independent school of approximately 1300 pupils of over 28 different nationalities. 180 pupils are in Form VI. The school takes pupils from a range of diverse backgrounds and approximately 30 pupils join us each year from other schools to take advantage of the breadth of SQA Higher provision in Form V. Means-tested bursaries ranging from 30% to 100% are awarded each year. Approximately 90% of pupils progress each year from school to universities in the UK and abroad. The school follows the exam structure offered by SQA. Most pupils in Form VI study two or three Advanced Highers, in combination with Highers and National 5's depending on requirements.
